Today, it is clear to every Gambian that Adama Barrow’s reign is coming to an end. The signs and actions all point to it. I strongly believe that 2026 will mark the end of his tenure.
The main reason is simple—Adama Barrow himself knows that Gambians no longer support him. He is aware that the people have lost trust in his leadership, and this has left him frustrated, desperate, and without direction.
One clear sign of this collapse is how he was recently rejected in his own political territory. Despite being the head of state, his influence could not even penetrate the area of his own parliamentarian, Sulayman Saho. In fact, he was dragged out and rejected by Saho’s people.
Imagine—a sitting president being kicked out by his own MP’s constituency. This is a serious sign of failure.
If Adama Barrow were a mature leader, he would start packing and prepare to leave power peacefully. But we know he is not ready to do that.
So, I urge all Gambians: let us work harder and come together to vote him out in the 2026 election.
Thank you.
